Project Lockeridge - Garden Annexe
Designed as an extension of the main family home, this garden annexe was a project we worked on from the very outset, collaborating with the architect while the plans were still being developed. This early involvement allowed the interior design to help shape the building itself, considering how each space would be used alongside the layout, lighting, joinery and finishes.
The brief was to create a hardworking, flexible annexe that felt characterful and considered rather than simply functional. Downstairs, the utility and boot room combines generous storage with practical laundry space, while upstairs a study doubles as a guest room alongside a newly designed bathroom.
Warm colour, natural materials, patterned fabrics and carefully considered joinery bring personality to the new-build structure, while practical details ensure every inch earns its place. The result is a garden annexe that feels connected to the main house but has an identity entirely of its own, designed for everyday family life, working from home and welcoming guests.
